About the Journal
Journal of People Management (JPM) is a fully open access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes high-quality empirical research in human resource management and related areas of people management (see Aims & Scope for details). JPM serves both scholars and practitioners by providing evidence-based insights into how organizations attract, develop, engage, and retain their people.
JPM publishes English-language empirical studies using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method designs, including well-executed replication studies that strengthen the evidence base in people management research. Manuscripts are evaluated through a single-anonymized peer review process, with a strong emphasis on clear research relevance, solid theoretical grounding, rigorous methodology, and meaningful implications for research and practice. JPM welcomes submissions from researchers at all career stages; however, all manuscripts must meet the journal’s standards for methodological integrity, transparency, and scholarly contribution.
